Josh Kirkland Named All-America by United Soccer Coaches

University of Mary Washington senior forward Josh Kirkland (Richmond, Va.) has been named as an All-America selection by the United Soccer Coaches. Kirkland was named as a third team selection.

A two-time Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Kirkland adds All-America honors to a mantel that includes first team all-region and first team all-conference accolades. He was named the United Soccer Coaches National Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Spetember 5, as well as conference player of the week.

Kirkland has scored 18 goals and three assists this season for 39 points. He ranks ninth in the nation in goals, and is 11th in goals per game. Four of his goals were game winners.

Kirkland is the 10th All-America pick in program history, and the first since 2019. He and the UMW Eagles will face Williams College in the NCAA Tournament semifinals on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va.
