The University of Mary Washington men's soccer and volleyball teams are ranked in the initial NCAA regional rankings, which are used to determine the NCAA Tournament fields in each sport.

The men's soccer team is ranked second in the South Atlantic region, through games of October 14. The Eagles, 10-1-3, defeated Penn State Harrisburg 5-0 on Wednesday.

The volleyball team is ranked eighth in the Mid Atlantic region, and defeated second ranked Christopher Newport on Wednesday night. The Eagles will take on top-ranked Juniata, sixth ranked Johns Hopkins, and seventh ranked Eastern this weekend in Huntington, Pa.

The regional rankings are updated periodically throughout the remainder of the regular season and conference tournaments, with the final rankings determining NCAA Tournament competitors.
