The University of Mary Washington men's golf team completed play on day one of the Ted Keller Invitational in Ashland, Va., on Saturday, with one team standing in a tie for third place, and another in eighth place.

One squad saw senior Jason Guintu finish with a 74, junior Sebastien Bonte 76, sophomore Robin Yu 79, senior Austin Matz 80, and senior Brendan Kelly 83. The other group had senior Phillip Manceri finish with 75, Luis Gavignano 80, Gaines Swink 84, Josh Quarles 85, and Anndrew Halmrast 88.

The championship will conclude on Sunday.
