UMW Men's Golf Teams in Fifth, Sixth Place After Day One at Ted Keller Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team is fielding two teams at this week's Ted Keller Invitational in Ashland, Va. After day one of competition, one team is in fifth place at +25, and the other is tied for sixth place at +26.

Freshman Robin Yu is tied for the tournament lead after 18 holes, with an even par 71. Junior Austin Matz is tied for 14th place at +5, while sophomore Sebastien Bonte and junior Ethan Kelly are tied for 16th at +6. Juniors Phillip Manceri and Jason Guintu are tied for 21st at +7.

Freshman Luis Gavignano is tied for 26th at +9, junior Zach Kaylor is tied for 32nd at +10, junior Brendan Kelly is tied for 34th at +11, and junior Peyton Crickman is 51st at +20.

The tournament will conclude on Tuesday.
