Play Halted at Day One of NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship; UMW Stands Tied for 26th

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team saw its opening round at the 2018 NCAA Division III national championship in Greensboro, N.C. halted due to weather. With the Eagles having completed 12-15 holes, UMW is tied for 26th place at +16.

Sophomore Jaosn Guintu is the Eagles' top scorer, at +3 through 14 holes. Freshman Sebastien Bonte and sophomore Phillip Manceri are both at +4, with Manceri having completed 13 holes and Bonte 12. Ethan Kelly is at +5 through 13. Sophomore Zach Kaylor is at +12 through 15.

The first round will continue at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, with the second round slated to begin at 11 a.m.
