UMW Men's Golf Finishes Eighth at Hampden-Sydney Invite

The University of Mary Washington men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Hampden-Sydney College Invitational, moving up one spot in the team standings on Sunday.

The Eagles were led by senior Sebastien Bonte, who shot a +3 (75) on Sunday to finish T-18 in the two day event with a +7 (151). Junior Marshall Wood led UMW on Sunday with a +1 (73) en route to a T-20 finish at +8 (152). Junior Robin Yu shot a +9 (81) on Sunday to finish T-46, while sophomore Blake Davis shot a +9 (81) on Sunday to finish T-57 at +19. Senior Andrew Halmrast shot a +13 (85) on Sunday to finish the event T-64 at +22.

UMW will be back in action on Wednesday when they visit Hood College at 12:00 p.m.
