UMW Field Hockey Falls at F&M, 3-0, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington field hockey team dropped a 3-0 decision at Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday afternoon in Lancaster, Pa. The Eagles fall to 4-5 on the season.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Diplomats jumped ahead with a score in the second, and added a pair late in the third quarter for the margin of victory. 

The Diplomats led in shots, 19-3, as well as penalty corners, 8-3. UMW junior goalkeeper Bailey McNabb made eight saves on the day.

Mary Washingotn will be back in action on Wednesday when the Eagles host Catholic University at 4:00 p.m.
