UMW Field Hockey Falls at #15 W&L on Sunday

The University of Mary Washington field hockey team dropped an 8-0 decision at 15th ranked Washington & Lee University on Sunday afternoon in Lexington, Va. The Eagles slip to 3-4 on the season.

The Generals scored twice in each quarter for the margin of victory. Washington & Lee led in shots, 26-9, as well as penalty corners, 7-5. UMW junior goalie Bailey McNabb made nine saves on the day.

Mary Washington will return to action on Tuesday when they host Randolph-Macon College at 4:30 p.m.
