The University of Mary Washington riding team kicked off the 2018-19 season with a first place finish at the College of William and Mary show on Sunday. The Eagles saw two riders, Alexandra Buchanan in novice flat and Megan Mahoney in advanced walk trot canter, take home blue ribbons.

Olivia Blake was second in Open Flat, Maggie Lebor was second in Intermediate Fences and third in Open Flat, Julianna Ianuzi was second in Intermediate Flat, and Ruth Wilmot was second in Walk Trot.

The Eagles will be back in action next Sunday when they visit Sweet Briar College.
