The University of Mary Washington riding team saw two riders take first place honors in tying for third place at the Christopher Newport University show on Saturday. The Eagles lead in the regional standings stands at 26 points.

On Saturday, Laura Adriaanse won her novice on the flat class, while Allison Skowronski won her walk-trot class.

The Eagles will return to action on Sunday for day two of the CNU shows.
