Why did you choose University of Mary Washington?

I chose the Mary Washington because of the family atmosphere that I felt when I walked on campus and that I felt with the Women's Basketball team. Mary Washington is a place that makes you feel included and a part of a bigger whole.

Favorite Spot on Campus?

My favorite spot on campus is the Anderson Center gym. It is not my favorite place just because I have spent countless amounts of hours playing and practicing basketball, but it is a place where I can clear my head, have fun, and spend time with my best friends. It's the place where I have the best memories.

What are your plans post Mary Wash?

I want to be a middle school social studies teacher following graduation. I am planning on staying at Mary Washington to get my masters in secondary education.

What advice would you give incoming Eagles?

My advice to incoming Eagles is to get involved in things that you love to do on campus. By being a part of a sports team, club, or organization, you get to meet so many people and it makes your college experience very memorable.

What does Women's History Month mean to you?

I think it is very important to understand and know the women who have paved a way for females like me to participate in college athletics and have the opportunity to go to get a college education.
