Game On! was a huge success and what a night it was to remember! On May 18, the sixth annual dinner auction to benefit UMW's Athletics was a sold-out event. The room was filled with members of the local community, corporate partners, student athletes, dignified Alumni including, UMW Hall of Famers and more.
The Presenting Sponsor, UMW Dining Services by Sodexo, the Supporting Sponsors, Fredericksburg Virginia Economic Development and Tourism, and Atlantic Union Bank were there to help us celebrate, along with numerous table sponsors. Guests enjoyed mixing with the student athletes, getting their pictures taken in the photo booth, and in the spirit of athletics some very competitive bidding on the silent and live auction items.
For the first time, items were available globally this year so we had participation from our friends near and far away. One of the major highlights was our live auction emcees UMW's own Dan Dupras '03 and Caroline Mosberg '18 who helped create an amazing energy in the room. The Sixth Annual Dinner and Auction, Game On! was a resounding success and a great time was had by all!
