UMW Men's, Women's Cross Country Teams Picked Fourth in C2C Preseason Poll

The University of Mary Washingtotn men's and women's cross country teams were boh picked fourth in the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference preseason cross country polls.

Mary Washington second year head coach Asia Hart's men's team will sport a new look this autumn, with ten new members added to the fold of a group that finished fourth at the C2C Championships. Veteran returnees Luke Blair, Michael Dye, Aidan Kimener, Jacob Lohr, and senior Dylan Wright will provide leadership and speed for a group that features several top newcomers that will challenge for top-five honors each weekend.

The Mary Washington women will look toward a strong group of returnees to build on a fourth-place finish at the C2C Championships last season, including seniors Amanda Heckman and Grace Pippin, juniors Jessica Oberlies, Eliana Ramirez, and Julia Snow. Sophomores Katherine Armstrong, Enya Cea-Lavin, Sophie Jensen and Kendra White will also challenge for top-five honors each weekend, as will a group of five newcomers.
