Once again in 2021-22, Virginia Lottery will present "Inside the Nest", a series of profiles of UMW Athletics student-athletes and staff. The series focuses on the James Farmer Cultural Center's Cultural Awareness Series. My favorite class is Qualitative Reasoning taught by Dr. Citeroni.
Favorite Professor:
My favorite professor is Professor Kinsley who taught Sports Law.
Favorite part about being a UMW student-athlete:
My favorite part of being a UMW student-athlete is having the support network to continue to play the sport I love with teammates and coaching staff that teach me how to be a better leader and role model on and off the track.
Favorite thing to do in Fredericksburg:
Walking around downtown and visiting the Famers Market on Saturday mornings when we don't have meets.
Fun fact about me:
I have lived on 5 of the 7 continents.
Favorite UMW memory:
My favorite UMW memory was winning outdoor track conference my freshmen year with a close second being Hurricane Florence cancelling classes but then there was barely a sprinkle of rain.
What has playing at UMW meant to you:
Playing at UMW has meant I got to continue running with a group of women who push me in workouts and make me laugh in the weight room. UMW gave me a family of women who inspire me every day.
Post-graduate plans:
My post-graduate plans are to go to graduate school in Colorado.

My mom and dad for encouraging me to join the track team when I was 12 and for my high school and college teammates and coaches for always being there to cheer me on.
