Emily Knerr Named CAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Knerr was the Eagles' top finisher at the Shenandoah Hornet Harrier on Saturday, as she finished second overall in the 6K race with a time of 19:16.7. The Eagles finished second in the team standings in the event with 57, just behind Washington & Lee, who scored 43.

Women's Cross Country Honor Roll

Sarah McCurry | Frostburg State | Jr.
McCurry led the way for the five Frostburg runners at the Messiah Invitational, finishing in 17th out of the 34 runners with a time of 26:38.20.

Kara Taylor | St. Mary's | So.
Taylor finished fourth out of 111 runners with a time of 20:06.7 at the Shenandoah University Hornet Harrier. 

Liana Foianini | Salisbury | So.
Foianini led Salisbury at the Division II/III Challenge hosted by Kutztown University. Foianini finished the race in 24:59 as the team's first runner across and was the second Division III competitor to finish the race, behind only Gettysburg's Sarah Rinehart, who was just 36 seconds faster than Foianini.

Jess DelViscio | York | Sr.
DelViscio led the Spartans to a sixth place finish at the Lock Haven Open on Saturday. DelViscio placed 25th in the 221 runner field.
