UMW Women's Cross Country Places 9th at NCAA Regional Championship

The University of Mary Washington men's cross country team finished in ninth place at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championship near Winchester, Va. on Saturday morning. UMW accumulated 276 points.

Leading the way for the Eagles was senior Claudia Autore, who finished in 34th place with a time of 23:49.8. Senior Colleen Boyle finished 42nd overall at 24:04.9, freshman Brianna Dolecki was 58th at 24:33.6, and freshman Jillian Weisbeck took 64th at 24:49.3.

Freshman Emily Knerr finished in 78th place at 25:06.1, with senior Amanda Patterson taking 92nd at 25:16.8.
