PERSONAL
Victoria Anne Parent is the daughter of Sarah and George Parent. Will be third year running for UMW… All-Conference in 2013 and gained All-Conference and All-Region honors last season… Also received honors as a member of the 2014 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association DIII All Academic Cross Country Team… Also works as a Communication Consultant in the UMW Speaking Center and runs an Etsy boutique with her teammate, Nicole Bethune, during the fall and winter. Guest blogger for the company, Roadtrippers... Her mom went to GMU and UMW and is from the Philippines, and her dad is a native New Englander and a retired marine… She has twenty-five cousins… Her uncle, Ray deLeon, ran track and field for Virginia Tech, where he excelled in hurdles... Has run two half marathons, and placed third in her age group at the Marine Corps Historic Half Marathon... Hopes to one day run a marathon... She’s a Leo and loves donuts… English major.
