UMW Cross Country Teams Compete at Paul Short Invitational

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's cross country teams each competed in the Paul Short Invitational on Friday at Lehigh University. The women finished sevnth in their division, while the men took fourth in their division.

For the men, senior Chris Marino led the way, finishing 31st at 27:24, followed by classmate Stephen Harrison in 32rd at 27:25. Daniel Ache was 37th at 27:34, Will Green was 47th at 27:42; and Kyle Anderson was 51st at 27:44.

The women saw sophomore Liz Green lead the way in 28th place at 24:23, followed by Tara Landy in 55th place at 25:03; Erin Dandridge in 69th at 25:15; Brianna Berling in 75th at 25:18, and Hannah Somers in 81st place at 25:25.

Mary Washington will return to action in two weeks at the Gettysburg College Invitational.
