UMW Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Ranked Regionally by USTFCCCA
The University of Mary Washington men's cross country team has been ranked second in the South/Southeast Region this week, while the women are ranked fourth in the region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in their weekly ranking of September 22.

The men, thanks to a season-opening win at Washington & Lee and a fifth place finish among 30 schools at Dickinson this Saturday, hold the second spot in the region, just behind Emory University. The women, who were sixth this week at Dickinson, placed fourth behind Emory, Rhodes, and Christopher Newport.

The Eagles will be off this week, before returning to action at the Paul Short Invitational on October 2.
