The 22nd ranked Universiy of Mary Washington volleyball team survived a tight game in he firs and rolled on in the next two in taking a 3-0 decision at the University of Lynchburg on Wednesday evening. The Eagles improve to 20-1 on the season; game scores were 26-24, 25-15, 25-21.

UMW was on point offensively, hitting .396 as a team, with 48 kills against eight errors in 101 attempts. Reigning C2C Player of the Week Chloe Crosen led the way with 12 kills against one error in 23 attempts, while senior Caitlyn Burch scored eight kills against one error in 13 attempts. Senior Jordan Lyons scored eight kills and added 10 digs, while Lauren Foley led the team with 20 assists. Junior Brenna Campbell added 17 assists. 

Senior Bryanna Miller scored six kills and 12 digs, and Emma Hadley added six kills and three block assists. Hannah Livermon scored 11 digs as well.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday at Christopher Newport at 6:00 p.m.
