UMW Volleyball Falls at Washington & Lee, 3-1, on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Washington & Lee University on Saturday in Lexington, Va. UMW slips to 20-7 on the season. The Eagles claimed the first game, 25-21, before the Generals rallied to take the next three, 25-16, 25-19, 25-12.

The Eagles were led by junior Jordan Lyons' 13 kills, and sophomore Sarah Moore's 10. Lauren Foley posted 21 assists, and junior Brenna Campbell 19, and junior Emma Hadley posted six kills and five total blocks. Lyons led UMW with 26 digs.

UMW will return to action a week from today, as they host Shenandoah University and Marymount University in a tri match starting at noon.
