Krista Rodgers Named C2C Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) has announced its weekly awards following the seventh week of the 2021 women's volleyball season. Mary Washington junior Krista Rodgers earned C2C Offensive Player of the Week accolades, while Salisbury senior Hannah Sullivan claimed C2C Defensive Player of the Week honors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Krista Rodgers - Mary Washington

Mary Washington junior Krista Rodgers helped the Eagles to a 2-0 week. Rodgers added 11 kills and 0 errors on 14 attempts and hit .786 in a 3-0 win over Va. Wesleyan, believed to be a school record. She registered six blocks on defense, with 68 blocks total this year. In a 3-1 win over St. Mary's, Rodgers recorded eight kills against one error in 12 attempts, giving her 19 kills against one error in 23 attempts, for a .783 attack percentage for the week in two matches.
