Peyton Dunow, Savannah Powers Named AVCA Honorable Mention All-America

University of Mary Washington senior hitters Peyton Dunow and Savannah Powers have been named honorable mention All-America selections by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. Powers repeats as an All-America choice, and Dunow becomes just the third All-American in program history.

Powers, an outside hitter, led the Eagles attack in 2019 to the tune of 3.13 kills per set (3rd in CAC) while hitting .248 with 1.25 digs per set. She closed her career with a school-record 1347 kills, 707 digs, 199 blocks, and 150 aces.

Dunow gained All-America honors for the first time after hitting .242 with 2.97 kills per set and 1.84 digs per set. She capped a career in which she recorded 1169 kills, 797 digs, 140 blocks, and 111 aces.
