UMW Volleyball Closes Regular Season with 3-0 Win at Penn State Harrisburg

The University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated Penn State Harrisburg, 3-0, on Saturday in both teams' regular season finale, to improve to 22-6 on the year. Game scores were 25-11, 25-11, 25-7.

The win for the Eagles ties last year's win total. The Eagles were led by sophomore Rachel Hendricks' nine kills, while senior Emma Murphy added eight. Junior Emma Olson had three kills, 22 assists, and four service aces, and sophomore Jenna Yost added 11 digs. Senior Megan Payne posted three blocks as well.

The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday night when they host a first round match in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament. The third seeded Eagles will host sixth seeded Frostburg State University on Tuesday at the Anderson Center at 7:00 p.m.
