University of Mary Washington freshman Dani Fiore has been named as the 2014 Capital Athletic Conference Volleyball Rookie of the Year, and was joined on the All-CAC team by sophomore Emma Olson.
Fiore, who was also named to the All-CAC first team, scored 316 kills on the season for a .232 hitting average, with 66 service aces, 127 digs, and 22 blocks. She becomes the fourth Eagle to gain CAC Rookie of the Year honors.
Olson was named to the second team for the second straight year. As setter, she provided 615 assists, 55 kills, 42 aces, and 177 digs this season.
