The University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated St. Mary's College and McDaniel College by 3-1 scores on Saturday in St. Mary's City, Md., to improve to 18-9 on the season.

UMW picked up a key CAC win over St. Mary's to open the day. Set scores were 25-16, 25-21, 15-25, 25-21. Dani Fiore led the Eagles with 19 kills, while Emma Murphy added nine. Emma Olson had 24 assists and five aces, and Jenna Yost scored 15 digs.

The Eagles topped McDaniel, 25-19, 20-25, 25-122, 25-14. UMW was led by freshman Rachel Hendricks' 17 kills and five block assists, while Fiore had 13 kills and Murphy added 12 kills. Olson had 32 assists, Jenifer Grove had four service aces, and Jenna Yost posted 14 digs.

The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Wesley College at 7:00 p.m.
