The University of Mary Washington volleyball team defeated Gallaudet University, 3-1, on Wednesday night at the Anderson Center to improve to 11-4 on the season. Set scores were 25-20, 25-23, 17-25, 25-17.

Freshman Rachel Hendricks led the Eagles with 16 kills, while Kelsey Stanbro, Victoria Howell, and Emma Murphy each had eight. Megan Payne and Jenifer Grove each had 20 asissts, and Jenna Yost led with 19 digs. Howell had five block assists and Hendricks added four.

The eagles will return to action on Saturday when they face Emory & Henry and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va.
