The University of Mary Washington volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to #11 Eastern University on Friday night, ending their six-match win streak. Set scores were 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

The Eagles fell behind early in sets one and two, falling behind 6-1 in set one and 5-1 in the second, and couldn't recover. The Eagles took a lead midway through the third, but Eastern held on for the win.

Sophomore Emma Olson led the Eagles with 11 kills, nine assists, and seven digs, while freshman Kyla Foss added nine kills and three aces.  

UMW will face Geneva College on Saturday at noon.
