Members of the Mary Washington women's volleyball team helped out at Spotsylvania Middle School with their volleyball clinic, which was held at the SMS gym. The clinic ran on January 18 and 19 for three hours each.

The team helped develop basic volleyball skills such as serving, passing, hitting, and setting. "This was a great opportunity for the team to give back to the community and help grow the game to the next generation of volleyball players," UMW head coach Matt Troy said about the experience.

Spotsylvania Middle School Athletic Director Kevin Race was very appreciative of the team helping out by saying, "The girls were very involved with skill development and basic volleyball development. I greatly appreciate their involvement."
