For the first time this season, a Mary Washington women's tennis player was named the Coast-to-Coast Conference women's tennis player of the week, the conference announced on Monday.
Freshman Addison Felts won three of four matches this weekend for #27 Mary Washington, as the Eagles split a pair of matches against Vassar and #23 Swarthmore. Felts kicked off the weekend by teaming with Emily Beckner for an 8-4 win at two doubles against Vassar. She then claimed a pair of wins against Swarthmore in a 6-3 defeat, scoring an 8-1 win at two doubles with Beckner, and adding UMW's lone singles point with a 6-1, 6-2 win at three singles.
