The University of Mary Washington women's tennis team swept all three doubles matches and won four singles flights in defeating the University of Redlands, 7-2, on Saturday in California. The Eagles improve to 3-1 on the season.
Abby Moghtader and Lauren Quinn were victorious at doubles, 8-6, and Claire Coleman and Amanda Hagino won at two, 8-7. Emily Beckner and Hana Kimmey won at three, 8-3.
In singles, Moghtader won at one, 6-4, 6-1; Coleman won at two, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6, and Quinn won at three, 6-2, 6-0. Kimmey was victorious at five, 6-3, 6-3.
The Eagles will be back in action on March 13 when they host AVerett University at the Battleground at 1:00 p.m.
