University of Mary Washington sophomore Claire Coleman advanced to the final of the singles bracket of the ITA Regional Championship on Monday at the Battleground.
In the semifinal round, Coleman defeated Vinaya Rao of Carnegie Mellon, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2, to advance to the championship. In the final, Coleman fell to top seeded Danna Taylor, also of Carnegie Mellon, 6-0, 6-4.
