The University of Mary Washington women's tennis team completed day one of the ITA Regional Championship at the Battleground, with several players advancing in singles and doubles.

The day opened with doubles action, and Eagles Claire Coleman and Abby Moghtader won a pair of matches to advance to the quarterfinals on Sunday morning, as did teammates Lauren Quinn and Rachel Summers. Both will continue in the championship round on Sunday morning.

In singles play, Quinn, Moghtader, and Coleman all won a pair of matches to advance to Sunday's round of 16.

The event will continue on Sunday and conclude on Monday.
