#13 UMW Women's Tennis Tops St. Mary's to Remain Undefeated in CAC Play

The 13th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team defeated St. Mary's College, 7-2, in Capital Athletic Conference action on Tuesday in St. Mary's City, Md. The Eagles improve to 15-4 on the season, and 6-0 in league play.

Rachel Summers and Lauren Quinn were victorious at one doubles, winning 8-1, while Danielle Mirabella dn Claire Coleman won at two, 8-0. St. Mary's took the third doubles match by default.

In singles, Summers took a 6-0, 6-0 win at one, Coleman won 6-0, 6-0 at two, and Quinn won at three, 6-0, 6-0. Mirabella won at four, 6-0, 6-0. Rachel Cooper picked up a 6-0, 6-0 win at five. The Seahawks gained a point at six by default.

The Eagles will host Salisbury University on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in another conference matchup.
