The University of Mary Washington women's tennis team saw one doubles team advance to the second day of the ITA South-Southeast Regional, played at the Battleground, on Saturday.
Senior Danielle Mirabella and freshman Lauren Quinn defeated Lexi Epstein and Rachel Flame of Dickinson, 8-2, and then defeated Jordan Schaefer and Sydney Soto of Salisbury, 8-2, to advance to the quarterfinals on Sunday. They will face top seeded Anjali Kashyap and Sophia Strickland of Johns Hopkins in the quarters on Sunday.
