University of Mary Washington sophomore Rachel Summers fell on Friday at the ITA Oracle Cup in Rome, Ga., retiring due to illness in the third set. Summers won the first set against Briana Hartmann of Gustavus Adolphus, 7-5, before falling in the second, 6-4. Trailing 1-4 in the third, Summers was forced to retire.
