#17 UMW Women's Tennis Falls to Carnegie Mellon, 5-4, on Saturday

The 17th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team fell to Carnegie Mellon, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles fall to 16-4 overall.

The Eagles opened with two wins in doubles, but only managed two wins in singles play. Taylor Diffley and Kait Brogan won at one, 8-5, and Ashley Barrow and Rachel Summers won at two, 8-6.

In singles, Rachel Summers gained the win at four, 6-4, 7-6(3), and Hannah Jabusch won at five, 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-3.

The Eagles will be back in action on Tuesday as they visit St. Mary's (Md.) for another CAC contest at 4 pm.
