The fifteenth ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team swept a 9-0 decision from Meredith University on Saturday morning at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center in both teams' dual match opener.

UMW dominated doubles play, with Kait Brogan and Taylor Diffley, Caroline Mosberg and Rachel Summers, and Ashley Barrow and Sara Fioretti all won by 8-0 scores.

In singles action, Broagn won at one, 6-0, 6-0, while Diffley won at two, 6-1, 6-1. Mosberg won at three, 6-1, 6-2, and Summers won at four, 6-0, 6-0. Hannah Jabusch won at five, 6-0, 6-1, and Danielle Mirabella won at six, 6-1, 6-0.

The Eagles will be back in action on February 18 when they host Methodist University and Franklin & Marshall College.
