University of Mary Washington senior Shelby Harris and sophomore Kait Brogan dropped their semifinal match at the ITA Small College National Championships in Sumter, S.C. The duo went on to fall, 6-1, 6-3, against Claremont Mudd Scripps' Kouzman and Ward in the third place match.

The Eagles dropped their match to Emory University junior Katarina Su and sophomore Bridget Harding, 6-1, 6-2, in the semifinal round. By advancing to the semifinals, the duo gains All-America honors - the first UMW student-athletes of the year to gain All-America accolades.
