The 20th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision to #14 DePauw University on Saturday. The Eagles slip to 9-5 on the season.

The Eagles picked up a win at one doubles, but fell in tiebreaks at both two and three doubles, 9-8. The two teams then split the six singles matches, with the Eagles winning at four, five, and six. Chrissy Gaul, Kait Brogan, and Mackenzie Smith all gained straight set wins for UMW.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday when they visit York College and Penn State Harrisburg.
