The 23rd ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team fell to #14 Sewanee, 6-3, on Sunday at the Battleground to fall to 9-4 on the season.
The Eagles picked up a win at two doubles, as Mackenzie Smith and Caroline Mosberg won, 8-6, but UMW trailed, 2-1, heading to singles.
Mosberg won at three, 7-5, 6-3, and Smith won at six, 7-5, 6-2, for the Eagles two singles scores.
The Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they face DePauw University in Lexington, Va. at 1:00 p.m.
