The 23rd ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to #11 Washington & Lee University on Saturday at the UMW Indoor Tennis Center. The Eagles fall to 7-3 on the season.

After falling behind in dropping all three doubles matches, the Eagles split the singles matches, winning at four, five, and six, as Chrissy Gaul, Kait Brogan, and Mackenzie Smith each won, including Gaul in a super breaker.

The Eagles will return to action next weekend when they host the UMW Blue/Gray Classic on Friday though Sunday.
