Women's Tennis Remains #21 in New ITA Polls

The University of Mary Washington women's tennis team kept their #21 rank nationally, as well as earned a #6 rank regionally in the Atlantic South. The Eagles are 7-5, 2-0 CAC on the year.

Several individuals earned high regional rankings for the Eagles. The duo of Lindsay Raulston and Shelby Harris each earned Top 20 honors, with Raulston taking #12 and Harris going #20.

The two are also ranked #1 regionally in doubles. This is the first time since 1984 that UMW has had a doubles team ranked first in the region.

UMW returns to the courts this weekend in the UMW Blue and Grey Invitational. The Eagles will face #20 Skidmore (3:30 p.m.) on Friday, Oberlin (10:00 a.m.) on Saturday, and UC Santa Cruz (12:00 p.m.) on Sunday.
