Redlands, Ca.-- The #21 University of Mary Washington women's tennis team fell, 6-3 against Redlands on Saturday to end their west coast road swing. The Eagles won three singles matches, but it wasn't enough as UMW falls to 3-3 on the year.
The Lady Bulldogs won all three doubles matches to open up, giving them an early 3-0 lead.
Lindsay Raulston continued her strong road trip with another singles win at one singles. Raulston won 7-5, 6-3 over Natalie Etchegaray. Shelby Harris and Alex Ritter also picked up singles victories. Harris was a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 winner at two singles against Julia Pollak, while Ritter won 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 at three singles over Ceara Sumida.
The Eagles return to the east coast, with a match against CAC foe Frostburg State on Friday, March 14th. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.
