UMW Sophomore Berri Flood Earns CAC Player of the Week Honors

CAC Announces Weekly Award Winners For Sept. 25, 2013

WOMEN'S TENNIS
        Mary Washington sophomore BERRI FLOOD (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Country Day) and St. Mary's sophomore ANNA PASSANITI (White Hall, Md./Hereford) were selected as the CAC Women's Tennis Co-Players of the Week for Sept. 25, 2013.
        Flood was honored as the CAC Co-Player of the Week after she captured the Blue 1 Singles draw championship with four consecutive victories, including an 8-2 decision over a Johns Hopkins player in the title match.
        Passaniti was selected as the CAC Co-Player of the Week after winning both the Flight B singles and doubles crowns.  She led the SMC contingent with a 4-0 singles record and a 2-0 doubles mark in the tournament.
