UMW's Raulston, Harris Gain All-America Honors as ITA Releases Final 2012-13 Rankings

University of Mary Washington junior Lindsay Raulston gained All-America honors in singles and doubles, and freshman Shelby Harris gained doubles All-America accolades as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its final 2012-13 rankings on Monday.

As a team, the Eagles finished ranked fifth in the region, and 20th in the nation, their highest ranking in four years. Raulston ended the season ranked second in the region and sixth in the nation, gaining All-America status. Harris ranks 14th in the region in singles.

In doubles, Raulston and Harris teamed to rank fourth in the region and 10th in the nation to achieve All-America status. Raulston becomes the first Eagle to rank as an All-American in singles and doubles since Becky Morse-Karzen in 2009, with the highest national ranking of any player under Coach Patrick Catullo. Harris becomes the first freshman All-American in Coach Catullo's tenure at UMW.
