The 26th ranked University of Mary Washington women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at #6 Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pa. The Eagles fall to 8-1 on the season.
After the Tartans swept the three doubles matches, UMW's Lindsay raulston gained the Eagles' point at one singles, winning 6-4, 6-4. Freshman paige Weinberg advanced to a third set superbreaker but fell, and the other Eagles fell in two sets.
The Eagles will return to action on Sunday when they face Kenyon College in Pittsburgh at 9:00 a.m.
