UMW Women's Swimming Extends Lead at CAC Championships on Friday Night

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team extended its lead in the Capital Athletic Conference Championships on Friday night, with four victories.

Sophomore Grace Nicolai finished first in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:33.99, and senor Erin Whitesell took first in the 100 yard butterfly at 56.90, as the Eagles took the top four spots. Julia Geskey won the 200 yard freestyle at 1:54.21, and Kaylie Benson won the 100 yard backstroke at 59.30.

The meet will conclude on Saturday.
