The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team stands in second place at the Franklin & Marshall College Invitational after one session of swims.

The 200 yard medley relay of Kait Luncher, Carley Vaughn, Grace Gartman, and Sydney Hall finished fourth with a time of 1:39.18. Sophomore Claudia Keller finished third in the 1650 yard freestyle at 17:52.49, and freshman Grace Nicolai finished fifth at 18:02. The 400 medley relay of Vaughn, Mary Zagrobelny, Erin Whitesell, and Julia Geskey finished third at 3:58.99.

The meet will continue on Saturday with a pair of sessions.
