UMW Women's Swimming Tops York, 154-108, in Regular Season Finale

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team closed the regular season with a 154-108 victory at York College of Pa. on Saturday.

The Eagles started with a win in the 200 medley relay, as Carley Vaughn, Mary Zagrobelny, Megan Murphy, and Grace Gartman finished at 1:50.84. Freshman Claudia Keller won the 1000 freestyle at 10:50.91, and Murphy won the 200 free at 1:59.08. Zagorobelny won the 100 breaststroke at a season best 1:09.07, and and Vaughn won the 200 butterfly at 2:12.39.

Zagrobelny then won the 200 breaststroke at 2:31.70, and Keller won the 500 free at 5:15.64. Vaughn won the 100 fly at 1:00.70, and Murphy won the 200 IM at 2:11.97. The 400 free relay of Julia Geskey, Kait Luncher, Vaughn, and Gartman won at 3:42.47.

The Eagles will return to action February 23-25 when they compete at the CAC Championships at St. Mary's College.
